As the new Security Officer, you will work 40 hours a week on a rota basis across our opening hours. You will support with protecting the company assets and their employees, assisting in the prevention and detection of crime within the store to help reduce losses where possible, and to provide a high level of customer service at all times in a uniformed presence.
Typical shift patterns include –, –, - and –, with one weekend off a month. Salary for this role is £24,399 per annum.

About the Role…
6. To assist in upholding the Company’s policies and procedures in all security related matters and to report any breaches of Company policy.
7. To be confident in following the Company’s emergency procedures.
8. To provide a fair and consistent level of enforcement of all policies and procedures and to represent the Company in a professional manner, maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times.
9. To identify and advise on any possible stock loss risks or best practice in loss prevention.
10. Having full knowledge in ASCONE and requirement set out by the Procurator Fiscal
11. To detect persons responsible for stealing Company property, cash and/or merchandise, and following Company policy and procedures in the conviction of individuals.
12. To conduct regular and random searches of employee and contractors’ possessions, within the Company’s policies.
13. To always maintain a high standard of personal professionalism.
14. Maintain a safe working environment for staff, customers and visitors to the store.
15. Flexibility is a must, this role will require evenings and weekends.
