Kernow Health CIC is looking to welcome a dynamic and dedicated HR Business Partner to our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking, innovative healthcare organisation based in Cornwall. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our Integrated Urgent Care Service (IUCS) while also contributing to the broader organisation. This role will be 22.5 hours per week, on a Fixed Term Contract, 6 - 12 months, and will be hybrid working., As a HR Business Partner at Kernow Health CIC, you will be an integral part of the HR function, primarily focusing on providing comprehensive HR services to the Integrated Urgent Care Service. You will manage a diverse range of employee relations (ER) cases, performance management initiatives, and HR projects, ensuring that HR practices align with the organisations strategic objectives., Employee Relations: Manage ER cases, including absence management, performance issues, grievances, and disciplinary matters, providing expert guidance to managers and staff.
-Performance Management: Collaborate with managers to establish clear performance expectations and address challenges constructively.
-Engagement and Development: Promote best practices and continuous learning, contributing to the enhancement of people management skills across the organisation.
-Stakeholder Partnerships: Partner with people managers and the Head of HR to support the achievement of strategic and operational targets, acting as a trusted advisor on HR matters.
-Projects and Policies: Participate in HR-related projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and successful outcomes.
Qualifications: A Level 5 CIPD qualification or equivalent operational HR experience.
- Experience: At least three years of HR experience with a focus on ER, ideally within sectors such as healthcare or large-scale operations.
- Skills: Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels. A proactive and continuous improvement mindset is essential.
- Personal Qualities: High emotional intelligence, honesty, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
