Our Building Services business unit is looking for a Digital Solutions Specialist to join the team at our head office in Leavesden, Watford.
The purpose of the role will be to effectively and professionally support the development and implementation of digital solutions within the business, taking the lead on developing quality business intelligence digital solutions and automation to meet Building Services requirements
You’ll:
1. Import, cleanse, transform and validate data with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for business decision making purposes.
2. Present data visualisation using charts, graphs, tables and other more sophisticated visualisation tools such as Power BI or Airtable
3. Perform routine statistical analysis and respond to ad-hoc queries.
4. Use a range of analytical techniques such as data mining, time series forecasting and modelling techniques to identify and predict trends and patterns in data.
5. Report on conclusions gained from analysing data using a range of statistical software tools.
6. Summarise and present results to a range of stakeholders making recommendations.
7. Ensure data and performance processes and solutions are consistent with the wider Skanska IT data and reporting procedures.
8. Analyse all available information to identify root cause issues, trends and to develop and prioritise improvement plans.
We’re looking for:
9. Experience using Power BI, SQL and Power Platforms
10. Understanding of statistical methods such as regression, classification, simulation, optimisation, machine learning
11. Problem solving/analysis: understanding of complex issues and problems and ability to form practical/pragmatic solutions.
12. Experience of Python / R – welcomed
13. Advanced numerical skills (Mathematical, Logic, Statistics)
