The Opportunity:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Logistics Administrator to join our team at Select Plant Hire. Select is one of the UK's largest and most capable suppliers of equipment and services to the construction industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate processing of weekly timesheets and maintaining all administration related to logistics operations in a timely manner. Your role will be essential in supporting the logistics team by keeping all administrative tasks on track, contributing to the smooth operation of the department. Ideal candidates will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Location: Sizewell C, Leiston, Suffolk.
Sizewell C is a nuclear new build project based in Suffolk and will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for at least 60 years.
What will the role look like?
* Produce accurate attendance reports for Line Managers as required.
* Book delivery vehicles onto the Delivery Management System for ongoing projects.
* Collect and review weekly timesheets from Select Plant operatives via Sites/Line Managers, ensuring they are correctly completed and authorised.
* Verify eligibility for Lodge payments and ensure compliance.
* Submit completed Timekeeper files and associated documents to the group payroll department within set deadlines.
* Verify documentation for new employees to confirm eligibility to work.
* Manage booking and updating of training records for employees.
* Assist with invoicing processes and general administrative duties as required.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
* Well-organised with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
* Accurate with strong numerical and literacy skills.
* Good communication skills and proficient with IT systems such as Excel and Outlook.
* Able to work effectively under pressure.
* Flexible and adaptable to new procedures and changes.
* Commercially aware with an understanding of business operations.
Requirements:
* UK Driving License
This office-based Administrator role is based in Suffolk offering a 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday.
