The role will be based on site at our Cobalt Office, just 10 minutes away from the vibrant city of Newcastle. Our Direct Mortgage Department is open Monday to Friday 8am-6pm and Saturdays 9am-5pm and you will work 35 hours per week including approximately one in six Saturdays. How you'll make a difference: As a Mortgage Consultant Team Manager you will manage a team of circa 7 telephonyMortgage Consultants to achieve their personal and collective objectives. You'll be responsible for the direct supervision and competency status of all colleagues within the team and for the delivery of effective coaching. You'll support to enable them to provide appropriate advice and act in the best interest of customers whilst meeting all FCA/PRA regulatory requirements. What you'll bring to the role: Full CeMAP (or equivalent) professional qualification is essential A full and thorough understanding of Mortgages is essential including regulation i.e. MCOB and MMR Previous experience of managing in a regulated environment. Extensive experience of individual and team development through coaching and performance management. Capable of delivering on objectives and performance measures. Proven track record in achieving positive customer outcomes whilst adhering to regulatory procedures.
