In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring that our site complies with all relevant legislation and maintains compliance with Diageo Global Technical standards. You'll work with the Site Engineering maintenance manager (Compliance) for Leven Packaging, and your goal will be to provide solutions that meet compliance standards in areas such as LOLER, DSEAR, PUWER, Pressure Systems, Asbestos, Legionella, COMAH, LOTO, Risk Assessments, and Work Instructions. Responsibilities: - Coordinate external mechanical compliance service and inspection contracts - Support the site in completing remedial actions following service and inspection visits - Ensure all Compliance and Legislative PPMs are set up in SAP with robust task lists and frequencies aligned to statutory guidance - Ensure all mechanical site drawings and documents are up to date and readily accessible - Prepare reports and update visual management for the maintenance manager About you · As a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer with an HNC qualification, you'll bring a wealth of knowledge to any team. · You have a demonstrable understanding of Health and Safety legislation and environmental risk principles, and your IOSH Managing Safely/NEBOSH qualification (preferred) demonstrates your commitment to safety in the workplace. · Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to communicate effectively with people at all levels, and your specialist knowledge allows you to make effective decisions and drive improvements. · You're computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS such as SAP, and have experience working in the FMCG industry (preferred, but not essential). · We're looking for someone like you who can contribute to our team's success and help us achieve our goals.
