Who You Are You are an experienced LGV Technician with substantial experience in motor vehicle technology, including cars, light goods vehicles, municipal vehicles, and parks equipment. You possess a practical background in hydraulic, welding, and electrical repairs, with the ability to diagnose issues effectively. You are adaptable to different working environments and flexible to shift patterns, meeting customer needs. Your experience includes using computer systems to record work and check vehicle history, and you thrive working as part of a team. What the Job Involves The role involves the service, repair, and maintenance of vehicles, plant, and equipment in accordance with legislative and health and safety requirements. Responsibilities include vehicle testing in line with VOSA regulations, risk assessments, liaising with external suppliers, managing stock levels, providing roadside assistance, and maintaining workshop cleanliness. You will also oversee statutory testing of light goods vehicles, carry out MOT Testing, and inspect new and returning vehicles to ensure safety standards. Some supervisory duties are expected, such as assisting with induction, training, and work allocation for other team members.
