Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are currently recruiting for a Basketball Coach to join the Mary Erskine School on a casual basis from October 2024 (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks).
The purpose of the role is to coach S1-S6 pupils on Tuesday 4.15pm-5.30pm and Thursday 3.30pm-5.00pm. The postholder may also be required to assist with fixtures throughout the season.
The successful candidate must have previous coaching experience, preferably at school, regional, or national levels. They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organised, self-motivated, and able to multi-task while maintaining high professional standards. The ability to referee is desirable.
Important Information
ESMS is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants will therefore be unable to apply for and secure a Skilled Worker visa. The successful candidate will only be able to take up this role if they can demonstrate an alternative right to work in the UK.
