Opportunity to join a long established Cambridge manufacturer as the Facilities Manager of their state of the art facility. You will oversee total FM for the organisation ensuring the site is fully compliant and fit for purpose for all staff and visitors. The site consists of office space, meeting rooms, clean rooms, communal areas and cafe.
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the premises including oversight of property management and facility management, budgeting, and providing excellent customer service to tenants and visitors. The Facilities Manager will lead the Facilities Management delivery for hard and soft services across the estate, whilst ensuring all health and safety and other compliance requirements are met.
Core duties:
1. Implement Facilities Management processes & procedures
2. Ensure building meets compliance regulations
3. Manage cleaning, security, property / grounds maintenance.
4. Supervise a small team of FM operatives
5. Liaise with tenants, employees and visitors to the site
6. Ensure the site is safe and fit for purpose

7. Excellent interpersonal skills and team leadership, including understanding how to create a strong, effective, and professional team.
8. Experience delivering fitout / CAPEX projects
9. Proven track record of delivering TFM (security, cleaning, property/grounds maintenance)
10. Experience setting up new FM processes / mobilisation
11. Budgeting and financial management skills
12. NEBOSH certifications
13. Strong organizational and project management skills
14. Flexible with the ability to prioritise effectively and to work in a fast-paced environment.
