Job Summary:
The Warehouse Clerk reports directly to the Warehouse & Materials Manager and is responsible for managing the warehouse shipping process including preparing shipping documentation (Picklists, BOL, Customs Invoices etc.), freight quoting, sales order processing/invoicing and supporting the warehouse team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Reviewing and ensuring accuracy of invoices and processing invoices.
* Prepare picklists, Bill of Lading, Customs Invoices, USMCA CoO, etc.
* Generate daily picking plans to support on-time customer shipments.
* Assist with administrative activities to support the Warehouse & Materials Manager.
* Maintaining an organized filing system for all appropriate documents.
* Support other departments (Engineering, Customer Service, etc.) in tracking order status.
* Suggest solutions for continuous improvement.
* Support inventory management functions.
* All other duties assigned.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
* Minimum 2-year administrative experience, preferably in a logistics or warehousing environment.
* Strong inventory experience, strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
* Strong proficiency with MS Office: Word, Outlook and Excel.
* Great communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and clearly with staff and other supervisors and managers; must be able to resolve problems in a courteous and discrete manner with external and internal customers.
* Must have ability to effectively follow-up and handle multiple tasks with strong personal time management skills.
* Willingness to work independently, with minimal supervision and take ownership of work.
* Experience in a manufacturing facility preferred.
* Ability to take initiative and problem solve.
