We are looking for an experienced Finance Business Analyst to drive informed, strategic decisions across our business.
The Opportunity:
In this newly created, full-time position, you will play a crucial role by providing insights through data-driven financial analysis, modelling, and reporting. This role requires expertise in interpreting complex datasets to deliver meaningful recommendations and support key business decisions.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, key responsibilities include:
1. Prepare and review detailed financial and supply chain analysis models.
2. Conduct valuation, financial analysis, and risk assessments, presenting findings in business cases and presentations.
3. Drive due diligence for financial and commercial assessments, identifying value creation and efficiency opportunities.
4. Assist senior management with decision-making for projects, capital investments, and change management.
5. Benchmark and analyse competitor performance, provide strategic industry insights, and support BLM’s three-year planning forecast.
6. Conduct market research and manage product/SKU analysis to optimise economics and cost-efficiency.
7. Evaluate and communicate business risks, track department performance, and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Experience in financial analysis or business consulting, with exposure to project and capital expenditure assessments.
2. Proven skills in financial modelling, business case preparation, and board-level presentations.
3. Strong stakeholder management abilities, with experience collaborating across internal and external teams.
4. Ability to apply critical thinking to identify and develop value-creating opportunities.
