Role Overview As a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for the calibration, testing, and minor repairs of a wide range of electronic and electrical test equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role involves both on-site calibration at customer locations across the UK (with occasional overseas travel) and laboratory-based work. You will play a key role in delivering a first-class service while maintaining detailed records and adhering to strict quality frameworks. Key Responsibilities Perform calibration, testing, and minor repairs on multi-parameter test and measurement equipment. Produce detailed calibration certificates and ensure accurate data entry into calibration management systems. Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and provide expert advice on calibration procedures. Identify and implement improvements in testing techniques to enhance service efficiency. Ensure compliance with industry quality standards and regulations. Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach while working at client sites. Accurately record personal activities against KPIs. Essential Skills & Experience HNC (or higher) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience. Previous experience in instrumentation, calibration, or metrology within an electrical/electronic role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong numerical skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and customer-facing attitude. Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
