The role involves full financial control of allocated projects, ensuring cost efficiency, profitability, and compliance with contractual obligations. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced surveyor to contribute to key projects while working closely with project managers and directors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare a comprehensive project budget at the start of each job, including re-measures and allocation of material and labour rates.
2. Conduct detailed project cost valuations, tracking profit and loss allocations.
3. Reconcile cost and revenue, ensuring financial accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Collaborate with Project Managers to draft and respond to client correspondence regarding contracts.
5. Produce final accounts, including measurements and variations.
6. Assist in preparing contract budgets alongside Project Managers.
7. Review contract documentation to ensure full awareness of contractual obligations.
8. Work with the Contracts Department to ensure project rates align with budgeted figures.
9. Coordinate with Contract Managers to ensure all financial data is available for efficient project administration and profitability.
