We are looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer for our client based in Sheffield, S9. Hours of Work Monday - Thursday - 6am - 2pm Friday - 6am - 1pm Overtime required - to suit customer demand Saturday - 6am - 10am Sunday - 6am - 10am Pay Rate: £14 per hour (paid weekly) -DOE Duties Application of various 1 pack & 2 pack primer & topcoat paints to steel surfaces using airless spray equipment, rollers & brushes where necessary Read, understand & apply paint in line with manufacturers Technical Data Sheets Working daily with small & large fabricated steel items ranging from 1kg to 10tonne Preparing items for paint General Paint Shop duties Ensure housekeeping is maintained daily Work to specific production schedules Complete all administrative procedures Maintain a clean and organised work area Pack completed works for despatch Loading & unloading of wagons & moving small & large fabricated steel items around the workplace using the FLT & Overhead Cranes Requirements Excellent timekeeping Ability to work to & meet strict deadlines Strong work ethic Ability to follow direction Ability to work on own initiative Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Good accuracy & attention to detail Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting paint equipment issues Setting up & cleaning down spraying equipment Overseeing quality of work for each project Qualifications Previous industrial spraying experience (essential) Fork Lift Truck Counterbalance experience (license preferred) Overhead Crane experience (license preferred) Supervisory experience (ideal) ICATS (ideal) SSPC (ideal) NACE (ideal) ICORR (ideal) Staff365 are an employment business and equal opportunities employer.
