Graduate Teaching Assistant - Full-Time Role in Stockport
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school in Stockport. This full-time position is available for an immediate start and will run until the end of the academic year, with the opportunity for a permanent role based on performance. The pay for this role ranges from £419.25 to £500 per week.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students and teachers, providing essential support to enhance learning outcomes.
Responsibilities:
* Classroom Support: Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring students are engaged and supported.
* Small Group and One-to-One Interventions: Provide targeted support to students who require additional help, helping to bridge gaps in learning and boost confidence.
* Behaviour and Learning Support: Support students in managing their behaviour and staying focused on their learning.
* Resource Preparation: Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources to ensure lessons run smoothly.
* Progress Monitoring: Help track student progress and provide feedback to teachers to inform future planning and interventions.
* General Supervision: Assist with the supervision of students during break times and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
* A Recent Graduate: Degree in any subject, with a passion for education and working with young people.
* Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to engage with students of all abilities and work effectively as part of a team.
* Adaptability and Resilience: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to manage the challenges of a busy school setting.
* Experience Working with Young People (Desirable but Not Essential): This could include mentoring, tutoring, youth work, or volunteering experience.
