About the Role:

This Technical Support Engineer position requires an individual with both mechanical and electrical experience to provide technical support across various aspects of power generation products.

Main Responsibilities:
">

* Provide technical assistance and support to customers, sales solutions, aftersales, and parts enquiries.
">
* Maintain project technical files, including drawings, wiring diagrams, and O&Ms.
">
* Design, build, test, and commission control circuits as required.
">
* Support the development and review of work instructions, processes, and spare parts database within the PowerGen Business Unit.
">
* Write method statements and support the writing of risk assessments.
">
* Visit integrators and customers to build long-term relationships and attend customer witness testing when required.
">
* Lead the development of new technical solutions to support the PowerGen team.
">
* Continual improvement of technical competence to support aftersales of all products.
">
">
Requirements:
">
">
* Mechanical and electrical experience to deliver effective support.
">
* Familiarity with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and email.
">
* Proficient in SAP, C4S, CCC, MTU Go Care, MTU Business Portal & Warranty System.
">
* Full and clean driving licence, UK passport holder, and fluent in written and spoken English.
">
* Strong background in high-level data analysis and end-to-end processes.
">
* Appropriate qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar relevant qualification or demonstrable industry experience.
">
* GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
