Youbreak down systems to their core components, revel in the details, and see your work realised in the greater world.Youexposed to the entire development process from an initial how can we make this betterstatement all the way through to bringing up a factory for production. Typicalactivities you may undertake include:Liaising with clients, defining stakeholder needs, and reporting resultsCarrying out research into cutting edge technologies and marketsTaking part in concept generation and problem-solving workshopsEvaluating ideas using evidence from modelling and simulation or experimentally obtained resultsPreparation of detailed designs, from system to component levelOwnership of system level documentationManufacturing of parts and assemblies, hands-on or by liaising with suppliersTesting of designs to ensure they meet the clientand end-customersneedsForming and providing technical leadership of project teamsYouwork on projects that involve automation, heating and cooling systems, product design, fluidics and challenging operating environments. These projects may see mass or low production, but consistently involve cross-disciplinary teams and a rapid pace of development.The variety of projects means youconsistently face new challenges, providing opportunities to grow and diversify your skills.
