ANGUS COMMUNITY HEALTH PARTNERSHIP PSYCHIATRY OF OLD AGE SERVICES Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner (PoA) Annex 21-Paragraph 2 (i) Full-time 37 hours per week An exciting development opportunity has arisen for a skilled practitioner, interested and committed to working with Older People with Mental Health Problems, within Angus As an autonomous practitioner, you will be able to undertake a high level of clinical assessment in order to address the mental and physical health care needs of older adults within Psychiatry of Old Age. You will play a key role in the delivery of high quality advanced nursing practice within PoA and support inpatient and community based teams in the delivery of high-quality evidenced based and person centred care. Applicants should have or be working towards a post graduate diploma in advanced practice. We may also consider applications for trainee ANP posts and will support the development of individuals to meet advanced practice competencies. This will supported by a triangulation approach to academic courses, mentorship and clinical supervision. Applicants for trainee posts should have demonstrable evidence of undertaking courses relevant to the advanced practice pathway and be able to demonstrate the ability to study at level 11. Remuneration for trainee positions will be as per Annex 21 paragraph 2 (i) arrangements for pay and banding for trainees. Candidates should be an RMN, registered with the National Midwifery Council (UK NMC) with extensive post registration experience and will be able to demonstrate expert clinical knowledge and professional practice preferably within psychiatry of old age. Hours of work: 37 per week. The post holder will be required to participate in the provision of a 24-hour service and to work day, or night duty, dependant on the needs of the service.
