The Role
As Property Management Team Leader, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing a high-performing team that manages a portfolio of properties on behalf of landlords. You’ll ensure compliance with legal standards, deliver exceptional service to landlords and tenants, and champion operational excellence. Based in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, this role offers the opportunity to lead by example, inspire a team, and continuously improve processes and service delivery.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
* Lead, train, and motivate a team of property managers to deliver high performance.
* Conduct regular reviews, set objectives, and monitor progress against KPIs.
Portfolio Management:
* Oversee property portfolios to ensure excellent service for landlords and tenants.
* Resolve escalated issues promptly and ensure compliance with legal standards.
Auditing and Compliance:
* Implement and maintain auditing schedules to monitor compliance and operational standards.
* Conduct audits, address discrepancies, and drive continuous process improvements.
Client Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key landlords, providing expert advice on market trends and strategies.
* Collaborate with the lettings team to ensure smooth tenancy transitions.
Operational Excellence:
* Identify and implement improvements to workflows and processes.
* Work with senior management to adopt new technologies and optimize operations.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in property management, including team leadership responsibilities.
* Strong understanding of property management legislation and compliance requirements.
* ARLA Propertymark qualification (or willingness to achieve it) is highly desirable.
* Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of inspiring and developing teams.
* Expertise in auditing, compliance, and customer service excellence.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Proficiency with property management software and a commitment to process improvement.
