If you are at a juncture in your career and considering a change of scenery, with fantastic views, coastal walks, and surrounded by national parks and countryside, this could be a perfect opportunity.
Our exclusive client is an expanding, dynamic Family Independent Group that provides premium eye care solutions through a bespoke personal service.
They are looking for an ambitious, proven optometrist who will have the clinical freedom to express themselves and be responsible for all clinical services at the practice, ensuring all patients receive a premium eye care service.
Supporting the Practice Manager and Dispensing Director, you will need to have a demonstrable track record of achievement, be outstanding from a clinical perspective, possess strong commercial awareness, have a significant interest in optical trends, and be conversant with the latest diagnostic equipment and clinical advancements.
As the Lead Optometrist, you will be responsible for thorough eye examinations, contact lens assessments, and aftercare, assisting colleagues as necessary to ensure the practice operates efficiently. Your testing time will be between 30-40 minutes, and you need to be clinically sensitive to the needs of the patient while understanding the commercial requirements of the business. A flexible working attitude is essential to ensure that the patient is always the priority.
Our client is passionate about leading the way with frames, lenses, and contact lenses. They have a premium Hoya account, ensuring the latest and most diverse range of lenses is available.
From a frames perspective, they provide designer frames including Ray Ban, Oakley, Silhouette, and Maui Jim, reflecting the quality of products you will dispense.
They offer a fantastic range of contact lenses, including Soft Contact Lenses, Daily Contact Lenses, Reusable Contact Lenses, Multifocal Lenses, Myopia/Myopia Management Contact Lenses, and Ortho K. This is an excellent opportunity for short, medium, and long-term career perspectives, with a view to partnership for the right candidate.
They will support you with MECS and Prof Certs in Glaucoma, Medical Retina, IP, etc., ensuring you can utilize these once qualified in the business.
If you feel you have the right experience, are looking for a new challenge, and are serious about becoming an integral part of something progressive and independent, we need to talk.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must be a UK qualified optometrist or have completed a recognized optometrist conversion course and be registered with the GOC.
