This is an opportunity to join a fast growing fresh produce business as part of their Commercial/Sales team.
In this role, you will be managing relationships with key customers, driving sales and category growth whilst making sure the account is managed well and customers requirements are met. You will work closely with the rest of the Commercial team as well as supply chain and product management, so will need to be a capable communicator, both internally and externally. You will also be part of developing and carrying out business planning and commercial strategy that is bespoke to your retailer.
Responsibilities:
* Full account management of your assigned retailer.
* Work closely with colleagues across Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality/Technical and Operations
* Driving continuous category growth whilst maintaining strong service levels
* Developing joint business plans
* Monitoring and delivery of SLAs/Customer KPIs
* Enhancing of the category plan through regular visits and communication to the supplier base
* Seasonal business planning
* Sharing customer insight, market share insight, trends etc
* Generating market data to identify areas for growth to maximise sales and profit
* Sales reporting
We are looking for:
* Experience working as a National Account Manager or Commercial Executive in an FMCG company (fresh produce desirable or wider FMCG)
* An excellent communicator, written and verbally
* A collaborative mindset that can channel information and insights across different departments in the business
* A strong customer focus and mindset
* A track record of achieving growth with assigned accounts
