Do you have 2-3 hours per week where you can take on the role of Secretary for an established group committed to working with the disability sector and our wider community? This can be a position that is incredibly rewarding for the right person as you work along-side of our Trustees.
Secretary
Attend all monthly meetings
Record discussions and all actions at meetings and write up meeting notes.
Email meeting notes to all the board
Provide an agenda 10 days prior to the next meeting to be emailed out
Plan for AGM with Chairperson
Help establish records of policies etc
Maintain a Cloud database register of volunteers, police checks, health and safety issues and company records
Liaise with Interlocknz's Chairperson and Hautapu Clubrooms on booking times for the buildings
Requirements:
An ability to work as a group member and alone
Pass a NZ Police check
An interest in the welfare and support of those in the industry
Proficient in English - both comprehension and written
Accurate in recording details
Excellent skills in data recording and management
Skilled in Word and Excel spreadsheets
Skilled with MYOB or Zero
A Police background check is required for this role.
