Job Purpose Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain and working as part of a team of two, the the Freezer Manager, to manage the Goods Inward team at the Bristol site 24/7, maintaining a collaborative work environment managing and ensuring optimum performance, efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. Duties include: Act as role model and ambassador towards our Company values. Management and development of the Bristol Goods Inward team. Ensure that Bristol Goods Inward team comply with company processes, policies, and procedures to include CCPs. Labour planning for the Bristol Goods inward team within the agreed budget. All required documentation and traceability information is completed to the required standard in a timely manner. Stock transfers to be completed “live” in RJL. The Integrity and accuracy of all on and off-site stock for the Bristol site Completion and accuracy of daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts Raw material waste stream identification and mitigation. Ensuring the factory requirement for raw materials are supplied in a timely manner. Timely and safe unloading of all suppler vehicles Vendor management and reporting in relation to supplier deliveries. Timely and accurate booking in of stock. Identifying and early warning of raw material shortfalls. Manage on-site and offsite frozen stockholding of raw materials and the storage costs relating to those. The creation and adherence to SOPs Assist in developing stock management systems and business processes relating to Goods Inward. Define and report on departmental KPI’s. Deputise for the Head of Supply Chain as required. Provide support for other areas of the business as required. The above details will be subject to changes to suit the needs of the business. Skills include: Experienced within management role in a stores or warehouse operation. Experience with stock management and stock control systems. Strong communicator A good problem solver Flexible and agile thinking Leadership experience and running an efficient team of direct and agency employees Food industry experience 2 stage interview process - 1st on teams and 2nd on-site, conducted throughout April Anticipated start date: mid-May Working hours: 6am starts, typically Mon-Fri with some room for flexibility as per business needs
