This role involves the coordination and implementation of the company ’ s supply chain strategy, encompassing all direct and indirect spending and logistics for both importing and exporting activities. Role Overview: As the Head of Supply Chain, you will be integral to the senior leadership team, driving the quality, legality, and authenticity that our client's brand stands for. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that customer expectations are not only met but exceeded, through the passion the company harbors for its people and the quality of its food products. Key Responsibilities: Negotiate optimal terms to meet business objectives related to financials, technical specifications, corporate social responsibility, innovation, brand positioning, and customer expectations. Drive Supply Chain optimization, providing a holistic view to enhance reliability while reducing inventory, storage, and transport costs. Manage both inbound and outbound freight logistics to ensure effective partnerships and modes of transport are utilized, emphasizing value and efficiency. Lead the team in managing customer relationships and expectations across all supply chain activities, including logistics, material availability, planning, and delivery service levels. Oversee transport fleet operations to optimize costs and improve fleet utilization. Develop a Supply Chain sustainability strategy that aligns with corporate goals for carbon emission reduction, circular procurement, and transparency. Maintain robust Inventory Control programs, fostering a culture of accountability, process clarity, and performance measurement. Job Requirements: A graduate degree with at least 15 years of extensive experience managing supply chain functions within a complex FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment. Proven ability to direct and influence a team, reflecting the company ’ s mission, vision, and values through performance metrics, coaching, and mentoring. Strong skills in negotiation and stakeholder engagement at all levels. Experience with MRP, WMS, ERP, and integrated commercial forecasting systems. Demonstrated expertise in FMCG procurement, manufacturing forecasting, and establishing strong vendor relationships. The Package: Strong package available depending on experience.
