Express Recruitment are currently supporting a nationwide organisation in their search for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their growing team, based in Nottingham city centre with excellent links to local transport, walking distance from all bus stops and the train station! The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar role and have an effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities
* Process, sort, and record sales invoices and credit notes accurately in the ledger
* Prepare and verify all documents for client billing and month-end reporting
* Resolve client queries regarding invoicing discrepancies and payment issues promptly
* Support the preparation of weekly customer account reconciliations and statements
* Maintain accurate sales ledger records, ensuring data integrity and balancing books effectively
* Regularly review and update client accounts, addressing errors or inconsistencies as needed
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience as a Sales Ledger Clerk or Credit Controller essential
* Proficient in using relevant accounting related softwares including Sage or Xero
* Ability to manage and prioritise own workload
* Professional and polite telephone manner
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
