Job Description
We're recruiting for a Treasury Analyst to join our Affordable Homes business. The role's objective is to assist the Treasury Manager and assume responsibility for certain aspects of operational treasury management within a dynamic and expanding company. This contributes to tackling the persistent housing shortage in the UK, fosters innovation within the industry, and ensures equitable returns for shareholders.
What you'll be doing:
* Assisting in the ongoing growth and maintenance of a robust control environment and interact with the wider finance team as required
* Provide weekly updates and presentations on the 13-week cash flow forecasts, which include a monthly variance analysis of capital expenditures (CAPEX) and accounts receivable
* Preparing and managing the cash management process as required for each company
* Assisting with liquidity management for all LGAH companies to ensure entities are suitably funded with any surplus effectively deployed
* Daily management of revolving credit facilities
* Be responsible for account opening, closing and banking mandates reviews
* Incorporate risk management principles into treasury and broader financial team operations
* Participate in working groups and support the principles of overlapping controls between teams
* Take ownership for testing and proposing updates to existing Treasury procedures
* Database manipulation and the generation of management reports pertinent to treasury activities, including potential automation, are essential. This includes supplying high-quality data to underpin the quarterly compliance reporting requirements
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
* Relevant financial degree desirable
* Progression in ACT qualification desirable
* Ability to think analytically, applying critical review and problem-solving skills
* Strong Excel skills, interest in automation of tasks and reporting
* Appreciation of accounting principles
* Appreciation of Treasury policy and procedure frameworks
* Experience in corporate treasury
* Experience in working in a fast-changing environment
* Treasury experience in construction or housing environment is desirable
* Experience in forecasting, analysis and a strong understanding of cashflows and controls
* Salesforce, COINS ERP and treasury workstations software experience is desirable
* Experience of banking platforms and electronic banking controls
