Job Title: Adult Psychiatrist Grade: Consultant Location: Colchester, Essex Working Hours: 40 hours Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join a leading healthcare provider in Colchester, Essex. This is a short-term contract position with an immediate start and offers competitive rates. What will your responsibilities be? As a Consultant in Adult Psychiatry, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing, assessing, managing, and preventing mental health disorders in adults. You will provide expert consultation to primary care providers and behavioral health care managers, guiding them on appropriate medications and treatment strategies. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular case reviews, often through telephone or video consultations, to ensure patients are progressing as expected. You will oversee the status and health of your assigned patient caseload, using clinical management systems to track and prioritize patients for review and treatment adjustments. Additionally, you will recommend treatment modifications, including medication changes and other interventions, and provide support for patients requiring more specialized mental health care. Qualifications and Experiences: You must have a full GMC licence to practice Section 12 Approved Clinician Driving and access to a car is desirable but not essential How to apply?
