We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join our dynamic healthcare team, specializing in providing support to individuals with learning disabilities. As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading and inspiring a team of support workers, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are delivered to our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leading and managing a team of Team Leaders and support workers, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure the delivery of person- centered care.
2. Assisting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance with the relevant regulations and standards.
3. Developing and implementing care plans, tailored to the individual needs of the service users, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
4. Monitoring and evaluating the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
5. Building strong relationships with service users, their families, and external stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to care
6. Providing hands-on support and assistance, including personal care, meal preparation and medication administration.
7. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
8. Leading and monitoring compliance weekly and monthly internal quality audits
Requirements:
9. Previous experience in a leadership role within the healthcare sector, preferably working with individuals with learning disabilities.
10. A compassionate and empathetic nature, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
12. Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including CQC standards.
13. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays,
14. A genuine passion for improving the lives of individuals with learning disabilities
15. NVQ Level 3 minimum Adult Health and Social Care.
