We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Apprentice to join our Human Resources team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about people and eager to kickstart a career in HR. You’ll gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of HR functions while studying towards a recognised HR qualification.
As part of this apprenticeship you will be enrolled on to a HR Support Level 3 training course.
Responsibilities:
* Support the HR team with general administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, preparing documentation, and updating HR systems.
* Assist with the recruitment process: posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
* Help onboard new starters, preparing induction materials and ensuring a smooth transition.
* Support the coordination of training and development activities.
* Assist in employee engagement initiatives and company events.
* Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
* Respond to basic employee queries or redirect them to the appropriate team member.
* Assist with payroll processing tasks, as required.
* Provide general support to the HR team on projects and day-to-day operations.

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
* A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Previous work experience in an office or customer service environment (desirable).
* Awareness of HR principles or employment law basics (desirable).
Salary - £24,000
Duration: 18 Months
