Job Title: Shunter (HGV Class 2)
Location: Bedford
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour (+ Overtime Available)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM 3:00 PM
Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Shunter with an HGV Class 2 license to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and skilled driver to work in a structured Monday-to-Friday shift pattern, with the potential for additional earnings through overtime.
Key Responsibilities: Safely maneuvering and repositioning trailers within the yard.
Ensuring all vehicle movements comply with safety and operational procedures.
Conducting routine vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
Assisting with loading/unloading operations as required.
Maintaining a safe and organized yard environment.
Requirements: ?? Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) license
?? CPC and Digi Tacho Card
?? Previous experience as a Shunter or HGV Driver (preferred)
?? Strong understanding of health & safety procedures in a transport/logistics environment
?? Good communication and teamwork skills
