In this full-time role, you will work alongside a qualified teacher and an Early Years Practitioner, becoming part of a supportive and welcoming team dedicated to helping every child thrive.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) within a mainstream Reception class. The successful candidate will work one-on-one and in small groups with students, helping to create a positive learning environment while focusing on behaviour management. Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and supporting students with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other SEN.
2. Implementing behaviour management strategies and techniques.
3. Working closely with the classroom teacher and Early Years Practitioner to ensure the children's needs are met.
