Preferred suppliers will be used wherever possible in a manner that ensures high quality products are available using most efficient manufacturing processes. Comparisons with competitor’s products will be expected as projects require. Position Description An excellent opportunity now exists for a Service Administrator The Service Department at Airedale has a responsibility to provide service, maintenance and repair solutions. The role includes communication with Airedale’s customers to ensure that their expectations are met, and that an excellent level of customer service is adhered too. We are looking for a strong communicator, who has experience in an aftermarket or service department and enjoys thriving in a busy environment. Key Responsibilities Work closely with customers and other Airedale staff, both internally and externally. Liaise with customers and Service engineers to schedule Service engineer site visits. Allocate different parts to be shipped to site. Complete customer questionnaires and Service engineer site access forms. Record and book Service engineer training courses. Chasing missing Service engineer site visit reports. Keeping accurate files Reply to queries, emails and telephone queries Assist the department to reach its targets Required Education & Qualifications Strong administration skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience of scheduling site visits in a busy environment. Strong communication skills including an excellent telephone manner with the ability to gain the correct information from the customer Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks accordingly Competent PC skills (SAP and Microsoft Office) Experience of working in a busy and varied customer service based role
