The Role
We are looking for an IT Systems Technician to work closely with the IT manager to help support and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our systems. This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll troubleshoot technical issues, assist staff, and help keep our IT systems secure and efficient. If you enjoy problem-solving and working in a collaborative environment, this role offers a great opportunity to contribute to a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
1. Monitor and maintain computer systems, servers, and networks.
2. Manage help desk requests and provide technical support to employees.
3. Assist staff with system setup, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
4. Diagnose and resolve system, network, or software faults.
5. Conduct frequent system checks and respond to security or usability concerns.
6. Monitor patches deployments, updates, and security fixes for operating systems and software.

What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
1. At least 2 years of experience in a similar IT role.
2. Hands-on experience with Active Directory/Entra, Office 365, and Windows Servers.
3. Experience in patch management and anti-virus updates.
Desirable Skills:
1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
3. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
4. Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.
5. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.
6. Strong networking knowledge.
