Support Worker Vacancies - Burnrigg Court - Carlisle
Location(s): Burnrigg Court Residential Home, Carlisle
Hourly Rate: £13.10
The advertised salary includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and/or working conditions of the role.
Available Hours: We have a number of fixed term opportunities available to join our team, with hours ranging from 17 – 34 per week.
Contract: Fixed Term (Up to 6 - 12 months)
About the Role
As a Support Worker (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant), you will have the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You may also assist with medication, provide personal care, and encourage our people to achieve or maintain independence.
No experience or qualifications are needed to get started. We will help and support you with fully paid training and development – we are looking for the right people, with the right qualities. About Our Home
Burnrigg Court, situated on the edge of Carlisle, is a newly built care home that can accommodate up to 60 residents, providing a safe, secure, and comfortable environment to those who are physically frail, highly dependent, and people with Dementia.
Working Conditions
Working within our Residential Care Service will typically involve working shifts which usually cover between 7am until 10pm (days) or 9.30pm – 7.30am (nights), over 7 days, 365 days a year – this will include alternate weekends (as part of a set rota) and Bank Holidays.

DBS
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check.
