JB371: Service Coordinator
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Location: Gillingham, Kent
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Service Coordinator on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities for the Service Coordinator:
1. Responsible for the setting up of new and renewed service and maintenance contracts and raising service contract renewal quotations.
2. Deliver prompt and accurate responses to clients.
3. Ensure all necessary information is obtained to enable prompt and accurate contract renewal and setup, ensuring that all renewal quotations are sent out well in advance of existing contract end dates, and that all new purchase orders are setup well in advance of the contract commencement.
4. Liaising with the internal team and external customers to ensure that renewals are raised accurately, that all equipment is included, and any contract changes are accounted for.
5. Assist with supplier invoice queries and sign-off for the service department when required.
6. Ensure that communication is maintained throughout the business.
7. Learn the roles within the service department and be prepared to provide assistance to the service support team.
8. Liaise with clients and Engineers to book in planned maintenance and remedial works and complete associated tasks.
9. Responsible for the delivery of works within KPI deadlines for service visits and remedial works - checking that the jobs are financially viable and commercially correct.
10. Providing risk assessment and method statements for planned maintenance works.
11. Addressing all emergency call outs within stated KPIs.
12. Maintain a portfolio of clients, including attending client meetings to build and maintain strong client relationships and uphold a positive reputation of the company.
13. Prompt and accurate response to client inquiries.
14. Undertake general administration duties relevant to your position including data entry and responding to emails and telephone calls.
15. Ensure all necessary paperwork is obtained and processed promptly including (but not exclusively) worksheets and purchase orders in adherence to the company's ISO procedures.
Skills and Qualifications for the Service Coordinator:
1. Computer literate.
2. Good written, oral, and numerical skills.
3. Excellent telephone manner.
4. Excellent attitude towards career development.
5. Excellent organisational skills.
6. Ideally a proven history of success within a customer service environment.
7. Ability to work as a team member, but independently when required.
8. Demonstrate an ability to understand matters of a financial nature (including budgeting).
9. Ability and desire to learn the legal and regulatory compliance for the fire industry.
