We are seeking a part-time Client Care Assistant to join our 24-hour Richmond practice on Saturday and Sunday. This role will be supporting a team of Veterinary Surgeons, Nurses, and Patient Care Assistants.

As a Client Care Assistant, you’ll use your excellent customer service skills to welcome and assist clients before, during, and after every visit. Although you don’t need to have hands-on experience working with pets, a love of animals and their welfare is essential.
From handling busy telephone lines and arranging appointments to taking payments, entering test results, and ensuring the consult rooms are fully stocked, you’ll enjoy a busy and varied front-of-house role. You’ll also take ownership of ensuring the reception and waiting areas always look their best.
Hours: 16 hours a week, 08:00 - 17:00, Saturdays and Sundays.
This role is entitled to an additional location uplift of 6%.
This role will be National Living Wage if you're aged 21 or over, and National Minimum Wage if you're aged under 21.

Role Accountabilities:
Exceptional care is at the heart of everything we do at Medivet. In this role you will:
1. Consistently deliver exceptional care to clients.
2. Support with operations and procedures.
3. Deliver patient monitoring and care, including everyday care: walking, toileting, and feeding.
4. Ensure the completion of all pre and post-operation activity.
5. Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.
6. Dispense any medication required under the guidance of the Veterinary team.
7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
Your Skills and Experience:
1. Experience of working as part of a team and building positive working relationships with colleagues.
2. Able to provide exceptional care to clients and patients.
3. Client care skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
4. Able to prioritise a range of tasks and own workload.
5. Flexible and willing to learn.
6. An understanding of the purpose and importance of regulation and compliance.
