A mainstream primary school located in West Northampton is recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a part time role. \n\nThe successful candidate will provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, helping them achieve their academic and personal goals.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nSupport the learning and development of pupils with SEN in both individual and group settings.\n\nImplement strategies and interventions outlined in EHCPs. \n\nAssist the classroom teacher in managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.\n\nFoster positive relationships with students to enhance their confidence and self-esteem.\n\nCommunicate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.\n\nMonitor and report on student progress and wellbeing.\n\nRequirements:\n\nRelevant qualifications in education or special educational needs support.\n\nExperience working with children with SEN, preferably in a school setting.\n\nPatience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.\n\nAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team.\n\nCommitment to continuous professional development.\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\nA supportive and inclusive working environment.\n\nOpportunities for training and career progression.\n\nAccess to modern teaching resources and technology.\n\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\n\nA diverse and welcoming school community.\n\nIf you have experience in a school and with pupils with SEN, we would love to hear from you!\n\nIf this position isn't quite what you are looking for, please still get in touch to discuss other available roles.
