JCA Seasonal Outdoor Activity Instructor 2025
Post commence 16th April
Are you ready to start your next adventure and climb your way to the top? Our Outdoor Activity Instructor position will take you on a journey like no other! JCA provides educational activity holidays to school, youth and family groups within the UK.
We are looking for seasonal Outdoor Activity Instructors to join our JCA team from April to July 2025. This is a residential position based at one of our UK Children’s Activity Centres: Condover Hall, Shropshire or Croft Farm in Tewkesbury.

The details:
1. Live-in position at one of JCA’s Centres, Condover Hall in Shropshire or Croft Farm in the Cotswolds (or live off-site if you live locally!).
2. Full-time, seasonal position from 16th April to 20th July 2025.
3. This role is paid at up to £12.32 per hour.
4. To apply, you must be 18 or over by 16th April 2025.
5. You will be required to attend an online recruitment event as part of the selection process.

Your key duties will include:
1. Leading activities such as fencing, archery, and laser quest. You will be trained to deliver as many of our activities as possible to our guests.
2. Helping guests overcome their fears high above the trees, on the abseiling tower and aerial trek while ensuring their safety.
3. Creating a happy and engaging environment for our guests during their activities.
4. Supporting other departments during busy periods, which could include making beds or pot wash duties.
What are we looking for in a candidate?
1. A candidate with lots of enthusiasm and a passion for the outdoors and outdoor activities.
2. Comfortable being trained on all of our outdoor activities, including those involving water and heights.
3. Previous experience working with children in a similar role is desirable.
4. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and be active outdoors in all weather conditions.
5. Strong leadership skills and confidence in speaking in front of groups.
