We have a great opportunity for a Bar & Restaurant Manager to join the group at Leonardo Hotels.

Experience We Expect
1. Department Manager or exceptional Duty Manager looking for their first HOD role
2. Background in branded hotels or restaurants is preferred – so you will understand how we work and settle in quickly
3. Excellent Customer service skills, standards driven, good organisational skills
4. Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment and enjoy it
5. Great at up-selling – anticipating customer needs as well as improving the bottom line
6. Manage the team and resources to ensure departmental service via cost controls, stock monitoring, and rota management
7. Communicate effectively and motivate your team, providing leadership and direction
8. Proficient in computer systems – Opera, SAP, and Micros (for occasional desk work)
Your Responsibilities Will Be
1. Manage the daily operations of the Food and Beverage Department
2. Be actively involved in hotel management, ensuring exceptional guest service at peak times
3. Prepare for daily business, including morning meetings and team communication
4. Maintain quality control standards for products & services, monitored by our mystery guest
5. Control costs and monitor productivity
6. Keep the team informed about departmental, hotel, and company activities
7. Develop and implement sales plans to maximize revenue through up-selling, incentives, and promotions
8. Promptly resolve customer complaints and monitor feedback on TripAdvisor and other review sites, making recommendations for improvements
9. Lead and develop the workforce through recruitment, training, engagement initiatives, and other people management responsibilities
