Job Summary
Band 3 Bank Therapy Assistant
Hull University Teaching Hospitals are seeking to recruit a Band 3 bank Therapy Assistant to join our diverse team of allied health professionals and support staff who work across a range of clinical specialties within an acute care setting.
The post holders will work alongside colleagues to support the assessment of need across a range of clinical conditions which present with varying degrees of complexity. As a Therapy Assistant, you will have direct input into the treatment of patients within an acute care setting, delivering evidence-based interventions to facilitate recovery, promote well-being, and optimise independent functioning as far as reasonably possible in all areas of life.
We are seeking individuals who can adapt to a changing environment and work well in a team. You will be expected to be an active member of the therapy and multidisciplinary teams and treat patients and colleagues with compassion, kindness, and respect.
Please note that this vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa, and HUTH cannot issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to support our Therapy Service at Hull Royal and Castle Hill hospital. This is a Bank position, requiring flexibility to work at any site and within any clinical area within the Trust.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to gain experience supporting Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists in delegated duties. The post also involves clerical and administrative duties related to patient care, including handling mobility aids and clinical supplies.
