Main Duties of the Job
Assist the Chief Pharmacist and Principal Pharmacists in developing and maintaining the pharmaceutical service to Velindre NHS Trust, ensuring it is safe, efficient in the use of resources, and complies with the Clinical Governance requirements of the Trust.
Be the pharmacy lead for all issues relating to antimicrobial usage and infection control. Plan, lead, and deliver a highly specialized pharmacy service across Velindre Cancer Centre to promote the responsible, legal, safe, and cost-effective use of anti-infective agents by optimizing clinical outcomes, minimizing adverse reactions and errors, and limiting the development of anti-infective resistance and hospital-acquired infections.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
