We are looking for a proactive Sales Engineer, IEM (Industrial End-user Market), to join our dynamic team of 11 colleagues across the UK, Ireland, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Your primary focus will be on the Southwest UK, where you'll have the chance to explore and cultivate new business opportunities!
What is the job about?
As a Sales Engineer, you will dedicate 100% of your efforts to the Industrial End User market, particularly in sectors like food and beverage. You will be the trusted advisor who visits potential customers' factories, identifying opportunities to optimize their pump, water treatment, and control/automation systems, and helping them achieve their sustainability targets in water and energy.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
1. Focusing on the market in the Southwest UK and identifying sales opportunities
2. Actively pursuing new customers and developing sales opportunities within your region
3. Engaging with customers, listening to their needs, and tailoring Grundfos' value proposition
4. Identifying stakeholders and building long-term relationships
5. Representing Grundfos at events, trade fairs, and customer visits
6. Monitoring the sales pipeline, orders, and profit
7. Working closely with internal stakeholders
Who are you?
* Experience in the Industrial End User sector is a plus. You can understand technical processes and challenges and advise customers on suitable solutions.
* Sustainability is in your DNA, and you are passionate about water and energy conservation.
* Commercial experience is required, demonstrating that you are results-oriented and can adapt to a competitive environment.
* Strong communication skills and persuasiveness to excite customers and build long-term relationships.
* Willing to travel throughout your region and comfortable being on the road.
* Driven to achieve success and deliver results.
* Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management.
* A team player who can work well with colleagues and internal stakeholders to achieve common goals.
