£40-000 – £50,000 + bonus
Kitson Associates is excited to share a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing region in Leicestershire. This role will be reporting to the Commercial Manager.

Role & Responsibilities
* Produce, manage, and forecast build costs, oversee sub-contract procurement, payments, and valuations.
* Lead the tendering process, procure subcontractors, and oversee the payment process, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
* Maintain overall budget oversight, manage cost overruns within contingency levels, and obtain approvals for variations exceeding budget limits.
* Stay up to date with construction materials and methods while ensuring compliance with regulations, codes of practice, and NHBC/LABC requirements.
* Support site management in reviewing subcontractor performance as needed.
Skills & Experience
* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within housebuilding or residential developments Min 2 years (UK experience essential)
* Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail in budgeting and valuations.
* Ability to remain composed under pressure with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience of the COINS system (preferred)
* Proficiency in IT systems within a commercial environment.
* Full UK driving licence required.
