You will be working as Care Team Leader on night shifts within a state-of-the-art care home which provides premium personal, dementia, and respite care, ensuring residents feel at home and well-supported.
Shift Pattern:
8pm to 8am on a two-week rolling rota:
1. Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
2. Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
As a Care Team Leader (Nights), you will:
1. Lead and supervise the night care team, ensuring effective handovers and guidance.
2. Manage night rotas, maintaining adequate staffing and skill mix.
3. Communicate effectively with the home management team, addressing concerns promptly.
4. Conduct nightly team meetings, providing feedback and support.
5. Oversee medication management, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.

We're looking for a Care Team Leader (Nights) with:
1. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
2. Significant experience in a similar setting, with a strong understanding of dementia and elderly care.
3. Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising and appraising staff.
4. Knowledge of medication management and adherence to safety protocols.
