CMM Manufacturing Engineer
What is the objective of this role and what does it consist of?
As a CMM Programmer, you will be working in the ITP Aero Manufacturing Engineering team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the CMM program development, validation, and production support on all parts within the facility.
In this role, you will:
1. Create, modify, overcheck & validate CMM / Articulated Arm programs.
2. Ensure CMM / Articulated Arm inspection processes are developed, validated, and fully compliant with drawing and regulatory requirements.
3. Support New Product Introduction projects through creating suites of inspection programs for development and production hardware.
4. Influence the direction of ITP Aero inspection strategies, ensuring that all future product requirements are included and will be met.
5. Ensure full compliance with all relevant company, legislative, and technical policies and standards, including Export Control, Intellectual Property, and Cyber Security requirements.
What profile are we looking for?
1. Education: Professionally Qualified Engineer
HND/foundation degree (or other national equivalent) or equivalent work experience/apprenticeship.
1. Experience required:
2. Have a minimum of 2 years experience in CMM / Articulated Arm Programming, particularly within the aerospace industry.
3. Knowledge of programming sheet metal components.
4. Carry out inspection of product for validation of programs.
5. Strong understanding of first principal inspection techniques and metrology best practices.
6. Ability to work under pressure.
Knowledge in:

Soft Skills:
1. Good Problem-Solving Skills
2. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across different teams and departments.
What training will you receive to be able to carry out the role?
You will work alongside a strategic multidisciplinary team and will be able to create CMM / Articulated Arm Programs, with good communication with the rest of the team to cross-validate the programs.

Who will I work with?
You will work at ITP Aero from its site in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, under the guidance of professionals with extensive experience in the sector in a leading company in aeronautical engines and components that ranks among the top companies in the global aeronautical industry.
You will work closely with the Operational Teams within the Hucknall Plant to ensure the smooth running of CMM / Articulated Arm Programs.
What are the working hours?
Days – 37 hours per week working Monday to Friday, core hours 08:00-16:12.
