Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a business critical leadership role for an established manufacturing business, specialising in complex assemblies within the highly regulated manufacturing industry.As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager this great opportunity to take ownership of a talented team and play a key role in shaping the future of manufacturing operations.As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager you will:• Lead, manage, and develop a team of engineers across multiple functions• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of manufacturing with a focus on operational excellence• Support the business in evolving its time and motion studies to improve efficiency and throughput• Contribute to strategic manufacturing engineering decisions and improvements, working closely with senior leadership team• Ensure compliance with relevant quality and safety standards including ISO9001, ISO45001, and ISO14001• Oversee manufacturing processes with a view to further enhancing these capabilities• Bring structure and vision to a predominantly manual production environment with minimal automation• Drive lean methodologies and implement Six Sigma tools where appropriate• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and engineering excellenceTo be considered for the Manufacturing Engineering Manager role you will need:• Proven experience managing a manufacturing engineering team (minimum 3-5 years in a leadership capacity)• Strong background in low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environments• Solid understanding and practical experience of ISO standards – ISO9001, ISO45001, and ISO14001• Demonstrable success in implementing continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices• Experience with time and motion studies and the ability to build this function into a core part of the engineering approach• Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline• Experience working with large-scale manufacturing operations• Exposure to manual manufacturing processes with minimal automation• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels• Lean Six Sigma certification or training is highly desirableWhy apply?• High-impact role with full ownership of the manufacturing engineering function• Opportunity to drive meaningful change and implement world-class standards• Diverse and complex engineering challenges in a dynamic environment• A chance to further shape the future of a skilled and capable teamPlease get in touch with Katy Emmott for more details.
