I am working exclusively with a leading town planning consultancy to join their team after an evaluated restructure deemed the role a necessity for the progression of their business.
Joining the team in Central London, you will be reporting into the Senior Finance & Operations Manager to effectively contribute to the productive running of the finance team.
Within the office, you will build relationships with the consultants to ensure accurate records, financial controls, and preparation of invoices are created for them.
You will not only be known with the consultants, you will also be the point-of-contact for the clients ensuring queries are handled timely - meaning if you are a finance professional who enjoys human interaction, this is a role to consider.
You Will:
1. Maintain precise project documentation, oversee financial management, and generate invoices.
2. Manage debt collection by communicating through multiple channels.
3. Process daily payments and correctly allocate received funds.
4. Compile comprehensive monthly reports on invoices and outstanding debts.
5. Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries regarding invoices, coordinating with consultants as needed.
6. Keep financial records current and accurate.
7. Produce quarterly financial statements and reports.
8. Offer administrative, project-related, and general office assistance.
You will bring:
1. Ideally, 2+ years within finance administration roles or office management experience
2. Interpersonal skills
3. Strong attention to detail especially when it comes to the numeric accuracy required for the role.
4. A willingness to explore professional development opportunities.
This company rewards its employees and takes care of their own with benefits that rival some of the best in the market.
So, if you are someone who wants to be more than a cog in the finance operations of a business and be embedded in the daily running's, then get in touch and we can speak.
