Ensure compliance with the VAT and Solicitors Accounts Rules are adhered to.Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.Candidate OverviewWe are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:Raising of bills on Aderant Expert systemEnsure the Firm's billing and credit note procedure is strictly adhered to and that all necessary authorities are obtainedEnsure bills are dispatched in line with the Firm's Policy within 48 hoursMonitoring of the billing team mailboxes and dealing with requests in a timely mannerEnsure all recorded time on iTimekeep is captured at time of billingEnsure bills are raised in accordance with client services agreements/ letters of engagementsTime and disbursement transfers and write offsLawyer & PA liaison on Aderant and CD queriesCollaboration with other finance teams / intake team to help resolve any billing issuesClient and matter financial housekeepingEnsure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR)Ensure compliance with VAT / local tax regulations in relation to output taxProvide second line support to the Group Revenue Controllers to ensure write offs and any other matter maintenance issues are actioned promptlyProvide cover for specific tasks of other team members during periods of absenceProduction of monthly and quarterly client reports where appropriateAd hoc responsibilities as designated by Line ManagerWhat happens next?Once your application has been submitted and reviewed, our Recruitment team will share the outcome with you by email.We typically hold two interview stages per vacancy providing the opportunity to meet two members of the hiring team at each stage.
