Accommodation Officer needed in Maidstone Paying £17.70 per hr ref OR4497 Full time hours on a temporary basis Deliver housing and tenancy management to residents in various accommodations, including temporary and private rented homes. Serve as the primary contact for residents throughout their tenancy, explaining obligations and responsibilities. Resolve tenancy enquiries and manage enforcement actions for broken tenancy conditions, supporting customers to sustain their tenancies. Manage cases of anti-social behaviour and hate incidents, ensuring proper recording and communication with customers. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation, including fire safety, gas, electrical certification, and asbestos. Complete health and safety compliance checks and risk assessments, ensuring proper recording and action. Raise repairs and inspect accommodations and communal areas, ensuring regulatory compliance. Manage void properties to ensure quick turnaround and availability for re-letting within target timescales. Log and monitor repairs, compliance actions, and void works, collaborating with the Asset Management Team and contractors. Work with the Housing Finance Team to manage income collection and enforce tenancy actions, including evictions if necessary. Achieve personal and team performance targets. Collaborate with Housing and Inclusion teams to support customers following homelessness, including ordering necessary supplies. Respond to customer complaints promptly, adhering to the Complaints Policy and Processes. Accurately record all tenancy management actions, customer interactions, and health and safety inspections in shared IT systems. Maintain up-to-date records of client details. Work effectively as part of a team. Attend out-of-hours meetings and appointments as required and participate in an on-call rota for households in temporary and other managed accommodations.
