My client, a leading professional services provider, is seeking to recruit an experienced company secretary from a professional services background. You will be joining a team of six with some management duties.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Management: Lead a diverse client portfolio, delivering exceptional company secretarial services.
2. Team Oversight: Mentor and appraise junior staff, delegate tasks, and ensure work quality.
3. Technical Expertise: Provide expert advice on complex matters, including share capital transactions.
4. Compliance: Manage Companies House filings and statutory deadlines.
5. Project Leadership: Drive technical projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
6. Billing & Business Development: Oversee invoicing and support business growth efforts.
Key Skills and Experience:
1. Degree-qualified, ideally with a professional qualification (CGI or equivalent).
2. Strong understanding of the Companies Act and relevant statutes.
3. Experienced in managing client portfolios and team leadership.
4. Proficiency in Diligent Entities or similar software.
5. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Hybrid Working:
2 days per week in the office following probation (3 months).
